I love you Soona: the antisocial programmer, who loses her job and her dream and dedicates herself to finding out why, worries about the unemployed writers, moves her professional-grade computer into a busted-up old church to run science experiments, who lets the homeless ravers move into the church with her so she can use their sound equipment, who makes the ravers listen to her thoughts about elves.

I love you Billie: the working-class woman with an alcoholic husband, who shrugs off intrusive questions and accepts a hug for the sake of the working class, who tells the weird intrusive cop that he isn't a fuckupatoo after all, who sewed a blue lining into her husband's ratty old jacket to keep him warm.

I love you Lilienne: the single mom who survives selling fish to rich people she'll never see, who carries a sword around, who sees a cop that reminds her of her dead alcoholic husband and takes the time to be kind to him when she doesn't have to be.

I love you Isobel: the old washerwoman who has stayed when all her children and neighbors have left, who takes in the drifters and strays who pass through the village, who won't give them up to the cops even when they find a bullet in her spare room, who calls the cop a dark omen but also lets him stay for free.

I love you Elizabeth: the local girl who went off the law school and came back a firebreathing socialist, who can stop the head of the local gang in his tracks just by saying his name, who never concedes an inch to the cops, who will try to reason with armed mercenaries and put her life on the line to protect her people. Who will run the union one day if she lives.

I love you Neha: the dicemaker who bounced back from the death of her first dream, who makes dice into art objects (the cursed die!!!), who remembers all the failed businesses and weirdos, who knows how precarious the world can be, but moved into the most cursed building in Martenaise and made a corner of it into somewhere cozy, sunlight, and safe.

I love you women of Martenaise: you live in the ruins, one of the worst neighborhoods in an occupied city, the beachhead that no one ever bothered to rebuild. You live in grinding poverty, where every government and school of thought has failed even more than they have in the rest of the city. You refuse to let Harry intimidate you, but (some of) you help him anyway—not because he's a cop, but because he's a man who has hit rock bottom, and you all know what that's like. Some of you fight for causes and some of you make art and some of you care for your families, and all of you give what little you can spare to make your community just a little bit better.

I actually think Dorian and Orym should fight more.

Remember when their slowly building tension over and entire episode (full of passive aggressive remarks and blame throwing) led to threats? And how after, Orym thanked Dorian for handing over the crown sadly because he knew Dorian would be mad at him? And Dorian couldn't even look at him because he was legitimately hurt, thinking Orym was disappointed in him for doing what he thought was right? That was peak.

The fact they went from that to their current closeness and trust is the best part of their entire dynamic. Their relationship was hard fought and still will be. They will fight for it because they respect and care for one another deeply, and their disagreements don't change that, only improve it.

hey. so. the well was absolutely gobsmackingly like. i have no words. but so many. oh my dear god. big day for annoying people (midnight & ten truthers (…me…)). the music. the ten-isms from fifteen. i was so nervous and scared i was full body shaking genuinely. coming out of the well… laughing…. ok pantheon??? i don’t even… the flashback to midnight specifically also like girl hello tv show! mrs flood at the end in a star trek ass outfit (not really but yk) like GIRL NOOO SHE KNOWS SHES GONNA KEEP STOPPING THEM AND MAKE IT SO THEY NEVER COME BACK TO A PLANET THAT DOESNT EXIST???? this episode had it all. rtd loves to self reference. the thing on the back was so turn left and it was interesting how that was incorporated/expanded into midnight because not that they did go behind her but it was a tight enclosed space so i enjoyed that aspect of it very much. also was giving me the satan two parter w ten and rose just bc of the well tbh i don’t trust mining planets in doctor who …. and also the earth not existing anymore is giving the stolen earth/journeys end but also the preview for the next episode is like ruby’s back (WITH A BOYFRIEND… let her date women goddamn belinda and her gots to meet stat) but i would assume they can’t get back to earth for the entire time till may 24th? something fishy is going on and some fuckery is going to happen majorly next episode 110% i wont be trusting a single thing.

when he got mumu (the mudkip), he wasn't really fond of him and immediately tried to think if he's even worth for pokemon contests

ruby thinks mumu is not pretty (hes a swamp pokemon) or smart or cool (BRO ALWAYS HAS SNOT COMING OUT OF THE NOSE) but hes still coping that he'll do fine

and then when ruby learned about the existence of a milotic, he knew he wanted one so bad (its so pretty to him) so he went to try fishing for it (but little did he know an ugly feebas is what it takes to have a beautiful milotic) AND HE HATED THE FEEBAS but it joined his team anyways 💀

and then mumu became a marshtomp. two "ugly" pokemon next to his "beautiful" pokemon (is crying about it)

I want to play with grunge, emo, Gothic, cottagecore, literally all of the styles you can think of and do makeup that suits those styles and just- OH MY GOD I LOVE BEING AGENDER CUZ I CAN DO THESE THINGS AND NOT CONFORM TO GENDERED BOXES AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I can experiment with all of these unique styles and not feel pressured to do it in any specific way because i fit entirely out of male and female and i can change it to what feels good for me and it's like im free to express myself how I want and take ideas that are often put into male or female, rip them out of their label and put my own spin on it and I FUCKING LOVE IT AAAAAAAAAAH
